Vera   believes   in   only   the   best   for   the   Carpenters   Arms   and   therefore   selects   the finest   local   produce.   The   meat   is   of   the   highest   quality   and   the   range   of   steaks is second to none. Our vegetables are all carefully chosen from local sources. Aside    from    the    steak    menu,    the    pub    has    a    wide    variety    of    home    cooked specialities.    Amongst    the    most    popular    are    beef    and    Guinness    pie,    beef bourguignon,   lasagne,   stilton   chicken   and   our   home-made   curries.   Vegetarian options   are   always   available.   Our   Sunday   lunch   is   extremely   popular   and   offers excellent   value   for   money,   attracting   many   regular   customers.   Should   anyone still   feel   hungry,   there   is   a   large   selection   of   puddings,   again   all   home-made. These    include    bread    and    butter    pudding,    Bakewell    tart    and    sticky    toffee pudding. We offer a selection of reasonably priced wines to suit all palates.  Customers   can   choose   either   to   eat   in   the   bar   or   the   restaurant   which   has   plenty of room for larger parties.                                                                   The   Carpenters   also   caters   for   special   occasions   such   as   birthdays   and   wedding anniversaries.
